Almost Like Being in Love

“Almost Like Being in Love” (1947) was written by Frederick Loewe, with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner. The song was made popular in the musical “Brigadoon”. I think most people know it as the last song played in the movie “Groundhog Day” where Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell run off down the street from the Punxsutawney B&B.

In my opinion, the version by Nat King Cole is the best. In this song, we set Matty loose on the bass.
